According to the Countryside Alliance, 'The fox either dies in seconds or gets clean away.' In the real world a fox either dies after being hounded for hours or is dug out and killed by the huntsman a process which can take several hours and result in injury to both the fox and terrier(s). So much for another myth that 'only sick or injured foxes are killed and that a healthy fox will escape'. Quite simply the Countryside Alliance are Britain's sickest liars!
